A cyclonic dust separator works in conjunction with a regular dust extractor. It is connected into the hose line to intercept a significant amount of the dust, depositing it  into the container. Up to 95% of all dust, shavings and chips will be collected in the separator and never reach the extractor.

As the majority of the dust is no longer going into the body of the dust extractor, the life span of the filter is massively extended. Airflow and extractor performance remain more constant as the filters do not get clogged.

Can be used with vacuum type drum extractors or high volume bag type extractors.

The CK100 kit consists of:

  • 90 Litre container
  • Lid with 2 x 100mm diameter ports
  • Elbow for creating the cyclone
  • Carrying handles

  • Lid with 2 x 100mm diameter ports
  • Elbow for creating the cyclone
  • Carrying handles

Simply connect a 100mm hose to the inlet port. Fit the elbow underneath, and angle it, so that air flows around the rim of the container depositing heavier particles into the bottom. Then connect a hose from the outlet port to the dust extractor for the now cleaner air to continue its journey.

The container is made from translucent plastic so it is easy to see the fill level inside. It is recommended the container be emptied when 2/3rds full, when around 65 litres has been collected.

The container is fitted with carrying handles to take it out for emptying.
